I’m from Portland, Oregon but I’ve been living in the Geneva area since 2014. My debut novel, Little Bandaged Days was published by Picador in 2020 to critical acclaim, with subsequent editions published by German, Dutch and North American publishing houses.  I have also been published by The Paris Review and McSweeney’s, among others.

I’m an enthusiastic reader and I love to talk about books. I’ve always found that reading offers a unique, boundless kind of community – something that can be especially valuable when moving and living in new places that may not (yet) be home.
